Sarah Humphrey

Registered Massage Therapist

The path leading me to massage therapy was long and winding. I studied biology at the University of Windsor where I obtained my Master’s degree in 2011. During that time I played rugby for both the Windsor Rogues and Kingston Panthers Rugby Football Clubs. My interest in physical activity led me to obtain my Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification in 2013. I returned to school in 2015 and began the Advanced Registered Massage Therapy diploma program at Mohawk College, from which I graduated on the Dean’s List in early 2017. I am trained in the application of RockTape (kinesiology tape), as well as in the use of the RockBlade (tool used in soft tissue mobilization).

When I began searching for a clinic, Speed River Physiotherapy was #1 on my list. After meeting Brenda, she gave me the opportunity to start my career alongside herself and her talented team members. I am very happy to begin my role as an RMT with Speed River and excited to see what’s to come.

When not at the clinic I enjoy a variety of recreational activities including leisurely bicycle rides, ultimate frisbee, and I am a member of The Vault Barbell Club. My partner Jordan and I have 2 dogs, Watson and Rosie, who keep us busy and active.
